Mahito Shirako Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is to be awarded to a Cinematic Arts and Technology student with enough credits to be considered a junior or senior. The selection is to award the scholarship to the student who has done the most to serve the Cinematic Arts and Technology department- meaning fellow students and community members (not individual faculty members.) The ideal scholarship recipient will be a student who has gone out of their way to help others and serve as a mentor within the Cinematic Arts and Technology Department. This scholarship honors the spirit and generosity that Mahito cultivated in Cinematic Arts and Technology. The selection of the student will be decided by the Cinematic Arts and Technology Department chair, Cinematic Arts and Technology tenured faculty, and Cinematic Arts and Technology staff to select the student (based on faculty and staff nominations) within the appropriate Financial Aid timeline. The student scholarship recipient will receive a bio of Mahito Shirako.
